That sleepover that's all Jane's fault

[Sleepovers were not Elektra's thing. She could take part in some fancy, overrated ball anyone who was anyone would attend in her family's hotel easily. Funnily enough normal things like this escaped her. It happened when one grew up with an overprotective father who valued education over social calls with other girls her age.

Elektra could fake her way through it and so she did. She got her cook to make a wide array of food for her guests (notably some cupcakes for a certain thunder god), bought a wide variety DVDs, and made sure the staff knew to make themselves scarce until she called for one of them. Now to just wait for the guests and hope for the best.]

[Exactly what it says on the tin. A member of her staff will probably take any coats or items you have on you to set in one of the many guest rooms. If you're wondering what the house looks like? Think white walls and dark hardwood floors. Any decorations around the house are clearly Grecian.

Elektra for her part will be wearing what she thinks is a casual red dress and high heels while saying hello to anyone. Feel free to jump all over everyone's threads.]

Kitchen

[You know those ridiculous finger foods they serve at fancy parties? They're all here along with some gourmet cupcakes. There is one plate set aside from the rest that will have a little note by them though!

Thor-

Jane thought you deserved a reward for you know what. All of these are yours.

Of course if none of this satisfies you, the cook will magically appear and make whatever you want them to assuming it exists on Earth and is within a certain reason.

Hint: Don't order a boar over a campfire, Thor. The cook will tattle on you to Elektra.]

Entertainment Room

[If you snoop hard enough there's actually more than one of these in the home. Jane would know. This one has been specifically set aside for the purposes of the sleepover!

There is one main television for movies or whatever else you'd like to watch on it. Along with a three smaller ones for if no one can agree. Yeah she thought that far ahead.

Speaking of movies, Elektra has a large variety of movies to sort through. Suspiciously all the ones that aren't martial art movies look brand new. There's really no rhyme or reason to the newer movie selections. They can be anything from The Little Mermaid to the first Saw movie. Just take a pick.]

Guest rooms

[Want some privacy? Need to grab some things? Enjoy a late night talk? Or do you just want to jump on the amazing beds? Here's the place. Just have at it.]

Training Room

[Here's the thing: you're not actually supposed to be in here. If you linger too long and Elektra doesn't catch you first, odds are the staff will find you and shoo you away. Until then, there's a ridiculous amount of hand to hand weapons here to play with. You will find swords from all around the world, staffs, throwing stars, knives, and targets to practice with.

Her trademark Sais are around too if you're feeling brave. Keyword there is brave. She will not be happy with anyone touching those.]

[Ariadne arrives and mentally notes that her worldhopping deviced yet again works for a place that isn't Camelot.

But she slaps on a smile when greeted by Elektra.]

[oh this was quite fancy and all thor was really wearing was a flannel shirt with a teeshirt underneath and low rise (really normal rise but how do you dress a giant). before, he'd move with confidence of an asgardian prince, but an asgardian and a prince he was no more so thor actually felt out of place.

[how odd a place this was indeed. thor had wandered in there because thor was thor and even now didn't quite understand the concept of other people's privacy. he had known about her father's death, he didn't know that she had gone so far.

grabbing a sword, thor goes through the motions of what it was like to be a warrior. before the hammer, before being cast out, when he and loki would just go and create mischief. it seems like another life.]

[the classy brother is wearing a suit (and a scarf, duh) because he actually apparently figured out how to dress on Midgard. Gold stars for Loki.

Unfortunately, he's also kind of a fish out of water especially since he wasn't invited at all except that Thor was like HEY LET'S GO DO THIS and he was like hargle bargle okay. this is an accurate description of what transpired. promise.

nothing can stop thor once he has his sights set on something. elektra would be a good friend for loki, sif had come and gone and he had not heard from her since - but elektra would be a wonderful midgard friend for loki. everyone needs midgard friends.]

[Having spent a good amount of time with the others, Ariadne still can't help feeling a bit distant. So in order not to be a total downer to the party she escapes to the guest rooms. She finds a particularly nice one and promptly flops down on the bed.

She sighs heavily and stares up at the ceiling.]

No. No - Thor, you are supposed to warn people before showing up at their homes uninvited.

Yeah. They're all based on the same idea really. Guy meets girl. They're attracted to each other but obstacles inevitable get in their way until the end where they kiss and live happily ever after.

Kind of a modern fairytale.
