That sleepover that's all Jane's fault

[Sleepovers were not Elektra's thing. She could take part in some fancy, overrated ball anyone who was anyone would attend in her family's hotel easily. Funnily enough normal things like this escaped her. It happened when one grew up with an overprotective father who valued education over social calls with other girls her age.

Elektra could fake her way through it and so she did. She got her cook to make a wide array of food for her guests (notably some cupcakes for a certain thunder god), bought a wide variety DVDs, and made sure the staff knew to make themselves scarce until she called for one of them. Now to just wait for the guests and hope for the best.]

...Have you talked to Darcy?

I have, yes.

You get along okay?

I've not spoken to her at great length, but we have gotten along alright, why?

Just asking. She usually gets along with people.

[trickstering]

She seems very happy in general.

[wormhole]

Takes a lot to upset her. She's mostly optimistic.

And so not very realistic?

I don't know about that. She notices thinks I don't sometimes. Maybe she's always realistic.

How long have you known her?

About a year?

Did you meet through the community?

No. She's supposed to get college credits by being my assistant.

Has she been useful?

[wormhole]

Her field of study isn't anything near mine so she doesn't contribute ideas like I was hoping when I asked for an intern but she notices things everyone else would overlook because of it. She's incredibly useful even if she's not as enthusiastic about looking at the sky.

Whatever works, right?

Exactly and she really grows on you so I doubt I'd trade her anytime soon.

That's good that the two of you can be friends, then.

It's great. She's like that annoying little sister I never had.

Younger sibling are always the annoying ones, aren't they?

I think it might be reversed when the siblings are boys.
